The trend of globalization is continuing. International business comprises a very large and growing portion of the world’s total business. Most companies invest, sell output to and secure supplies or compete against products and service from foreign countries. Thus, most managers need to approach their operations from a global standpoint. International business management is the process of applying management concepts and techniques in global environments. The aim of this course is to give students thorough understanding of concepts, the analytical techniques and skill applied in international business management to operate a multinational enterprise successfully. Specifically, this course will include the following in order to achieve the aim: theories of MNE, analysisof world environments, organizations of MNE, managing international marketing, finance, and technology transfer, growing strategies of MNE, foreign direct investment of MNE, regionalization and globalization of MNE.
