The course is positioned as one of the core modules for undergraduates that belong to department design of fashion industry. To fulfill this purpose, the course will pay most attention to the following issues: 1. How to observe a market and consumers (as wlel as key components of the market, and its relation to marketing? 2. How to identtify consumtion trends through market and consumer survey. 3. The real practices taken by foreign companies and Taiwanese businesses. And, 4. Now and possible directions of Taiwanese fashion industry With regard to the teaching approach, lecture, invited talks, case studies, as well as team-based projects are all applied.
