1.課程定位:數媒學程以培養學生未來從文化藝術的內容進行創作,多媒體設計首先要掌握住「主題」和「內容」,本課程精選十五個主題,探討各主題的歷史背景、文化特點、藝術作品的由來、設計思考、造型等相關問題,從中發掘文化藝術之美和意涵。 2.學習目標:數媒學程同學藉由本課程的學習和啟發,畢業專題能以文化和藝術作為的主題進行創作;非設計相關系同學可借本課程培養文化和藝術知識和涵養。 3.關鍵能力:培養學生思考如何開發文化藝術題材,尋找資源,並且整合應用,進行創作。 4.以非營利和營利文化機構的運作機制為基礎架構,分析檢視當代藝術管理文化生態的各種學說、觀念和技巧,以期培育修習者觀念構成、規劃整合、經營管理、市場行銷、以及溝通技巧等專業學養與執行能力。 5.藝文活動的媒體企畫與操作:透過實務個案分享與討論,增加同學對文化藝術的推廣實務操作有基本認識與概念。 6.針對台灣藝術畫廊、替代空間、美術館、博覽會等空間實質作品的觀察、討論、分析,與藝術家、策展人、乃至空間經營者的訪談過程、建立對藝術在地實質的認識與學習。
