課程概述
統計學之程序包括蒐集、整理、分析資料及歸納結論，其應用範圍非常廣泛。本課程主要涵蓋統計學基本概念之說明、初階資料分析方法之介紹、統計分析結果之解釋以及統計學在企業經營管理相關議題之應用。
課程內容分為：(1)數據的產生(蒐集資料)；(2)機率論(描述機率、變異、風險)；(3)資料分析(利用圖和數值摘要以組織數據)；(4)統計推論(估計、檢定、預測)等四部分。
本課程設計方向將著重在統計邏輯思考及資料結果解釋以更提昇學習效率。

Statistics is the science of conducting studies to collect, organize, summarize, analyze, and draw conclusions from data. Statistics is used in almost all fields of human endeavor. This course will focus on understanding statistical concepts, important business-related topics in applied statistics, quantitative methods and on interpreting and communicating the results of a statistical analysis.
This course includes the following four modules :(1)data acquisition (how to produce data)(2)probability(how to describe probability, variance, and risk)(3)data analysis(how to describe and organize data by graphs, plots and numerical summary)(4)statistical inference(estimation and prediction)
We will make statistics more effective by focusing on statistical thinking, and result interpretation .
