This course aims to train students to use sketching as a language for design communication, enabling them to quickly present interior space concepts and atmospheres through hand-drawing techniques. Hand-drawn sketches are not only fundamental tools for design expression but also a critical process for stimulating creativity and shaping spatial ideas. The course begins with basic perspective techniques and integrates light and shadow rendering, material texture illustration, as well as furniture and decorative element design, allowing students to master the skills of hand-drawn expression. Additionally, the course emphasizes "quick visualization" and "creative presentation" to help students accurately convey design intentions during the sketching phase, thereby enhancing communication efficiency and professional performance in practical work. Through observational practice, case analysis, in-class exercises, and project presentations, students will gradually develop essential hand-drawing skills, laying a solid foundation for advanced interior design development and real-world applications.
