The global emphasis on sustainable development have prompted everyone, especially the students in our Department of Tourism Management in Chinese Culture University, to keep up with the trends and focus on the hottest sustainable tourism issues. Let the master's optional course of "Special Topics on ESG and Sustainable Tourism" by our Department of Tourism Management to enrich your relevant literacy and lead you to deeply analyze the meaning of ESG and sustainable tourism. It will consider the balanced development of sustainable tourism from economic, environmental/ecological, and socio-cultural aspects, hoping to reduce negative tourism impacts on the destination, balancing the needs of various stakeholders, including tourists, destination communities, local environment, related industries, and governments, etc. In this course, we hope to guide you through the perspectives of tourists, destination residents, and tourism, leisure, and hospitality industry operators, etc., to see how they practice ESG and sustainable tourism. We hope that through this course, you will develop your macro vision and international thinking, , consider about potential research topics, reserve green-collar talents in the industry's dedicated sustainability departments and contribute to the future development of sustainable tourism.
