This course will focus on the core technologies and emerging trends in the financial technology (FinTech) industry, with blockchain technology—one of the most transformative innovations in recent years—as a central theme. The course will cover:
The historical development and technological evolution of blockchain
Real-world industry applications (such as cross-border payments, supply chain finance, smart contracts, and digital identity verification)
The growing convergence of blockchain and financial markets
In addition, as virtual assets have become a major driving force behind blockchain adoption, the course will delve into the development of cryptocurrencies, the current state of global and domestic markets, and the mechanisms of mainstream trading platforms. Students will also engage in practical, hands-on activities, including setting up exchange accounts, managing digital wallets, and interacting with decentralized finance (DeFi) platforms.
The goal of this course is to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of key trends in the FinTech industry and to cultivate forward-thinking, interdisciplinary FinTech professionals.
