This course introduces the principles of Universal Design and cultivates a human-centered, inclusive mindset in spatial and product design.
It explores the seven core principles of Universal Design through case analysis and hands-on practice, training students to approach design from the perspective of diverse users and propose inclusive and innovative solutions.
The course emphasizes both theoretical and practical applications, encouraging observation, discussion, and creation. It aims to develop students’ ability to address the needs of an aging society and accessibility issues, enhancing both the social value and professional quality of design.
