The course evolves from the fundamentals of "Fashion Anatomy"—building a robust vocabulary for describing cuts, fabrics, and silhouettes—to specific case studies of iconic powerhouses like Chanel, Gucci, and Supreme. We will analyze how these brands balance their historical heritage with modern business strategies. Finally, we tackle contemporary issues such as sustainability, digital marketing, and the hype economy.
By the end of the course, students will not only be able to read fashion news (e.g., Business of Fashion) but also articulate their own creative ideas professionally.
