This course aims to guide students in understanding that design is not merely about form-making or aesthetics, but a logical and strategic process of problem-solving. Through theoretical instruction and case studies, students will learn how to observe and define problems, develop design concepts, and select appropriate design methods to gradually translate abstract ideas into concrete design outcomes.
The course covers design thinking processes, concept development, application of design methods, and the translation of design language. It helps students build a coherent and articulate design framework, while cultivating the ability to clearly communicate and explain their design thinking.
