This course is "Indoor Safety and Disaster Prevention Technology".This course aims to cultivate students’ systematic understanding of indoor environmental safety and disaster prevention technologies, covering common issues in residential spaces, public buildings, and commercial facilities, such as fire safety, earthquake preparedness, electrical and gas safety, ventilation, evacuation planning, and smart disaster prevention systems.
By integrating theory with practice, the course employs case studies, on-site observations, scenario-based exercises, and group discussions to equip students with capabilities in risk identification, disaster prevention, emergency response planning, and proposing improvement strategies. In addition, the course enables students to understand emerging technological trends—such as sensors, intelligent monitoring systems, and AI-assisted technologies—and their applications in indoor safety and disaster prevention.
