(Karim Lakhani)
“AI Won't Replace Humans — But Humans With AI Will Replace Humans Without AI.” — Karim Lakhani, Professor at Harvard Business School
Offered by the Digital Media Program within the Business School, this course warmly welcomes students from all disciplines across the university for cross-disciplinary enrollment, inviting them to collaboratively build the digital production lines of the AI era.
This course is designed to cultivate the essential AI literacy and system integration mindset required for the emerging era of digital labor. Distinct from traditional software operation training, the curriculum positions students as the "Ultimate Commanders of AI." It focuses on training Intent-driven logical deconstruction skills and the critical aesthetic curation inherent in Human-in-the-Loop (HITL) workflows.
Integrating theory with cross-generational practical exercises, the course guides students to build their exclusive "Digital Production Lines" from scratch. The learning scope encompasses: utilizing universal prompt formulas to precisely invoke AI digital secretaries; processing massive datasets and establishing private knowledge bases (the RAG concept) via Gemini Notebook; and integrating AI copywriting, multi-modal image generation, sound effects, and rapid video editing tools to execute digital content production from conceptual brainstorming to visual layout.
Furthermore, the course strictly upholds the baseline of Responsible AI. We will delve into the cybersecurity risks of Shadow AI, the copyright attribution of generative content, the defense against Deepfakes, and the documentation of modification trails for academic integrity. This ensures students possess the robust digital defense mechanisms and ethical awareness highly valued in the business management sector.
The semester will conclude with a physical presentation of a "Minimum Viable Product (MVP) Proposal Solving Real-World Pain Points." Upon completion of the course, students will not only master multi-agent collaboration and If-Then logical rules, but will also have accumulated a comprehensive portfolio of personal digital assets and workflows. This lays the strongest technical and psychological foundation for their seamless transition into advanced professional design courses and their future Capstone Projects.
