《 上課要求 》
修習本課程學生應準時上課，並踴躍參與課堂各項學習活動。同學應每日注意虛擬校園公告，並遵循任課老師之各項考試、作業及出缺勤評分之相關規定。(出席計算乃自同學選課成功後，應上課之第一日開始計算。)
其他說明：
-依本校學則第四章第三十一條，學生因故不能上課，請准事假、病假者為“缺課”…。
-若學生因懷孕、分娩、陪產或撫育三歲以下子女之需要等，而核准之事（病）假、產假，不予扣分。(有相關需求者，須逕向「學生事務組」申請並提交任課教師。) 請准公假者，亦不作缺課論，不予扣分。(欲請公假者須逕向「學生事務組」申請公假證明，並由學生交付該證明給老師請公假。)
-學生之生理假(每月至多一次)及心理調適假(每學期至多三次)，無須提供證明，不以缺課計，亦不予扣分。
Students are expected to come to class on time and to participate in all activities. Participation includes being prepared for class; cooperating; using English; and following classroom rules. Students should check Virtual Campus each day for classroom announcements. If absent, a student should ask the instructor or a classmate about what was missed and possible assignments or quizzes.
Attendance is recorded from the first day students register for class. Exceptions are made for students who are:
1.Pregnant
2.Taking maternity leave or paternity leave
3.Taking parental leave (for the care of a child aged three or younger)
4.Performing national service or service to CCU
5.Taking psychological adjustment leave (up to three times per semester) or menstrual leave (one day per month)
Items 1–4 must be verified by the Counseling Center. Official documents should be submitted to the instructors.

Students are expected to complete all homework assignments on time. Please follow the teacher’s instructions announced in class or posted on iCan.

出席Attendance : 15%
參與Participation : 15%
作業或課堂測驗Homework and/or quizzes: 20%
課堂學習活動In-class activities: 10%
期中考Midterm exam or project: 20%
期末考Final exam or project: 20%
Homework and quizzes may be assigned on a regular basis. Information regarding all exams and homework assignments will be announced by the instructor in class or posted on iCan. Students who are absent are responsible for contacting the instructor to obtain information about missed class content, exams, or assignments.
The class participation grade is based on the following:
1. Preparation for class (bringing books, notebooks, homework, etc.)
2. Cooperation with the instructor and classmates
3. The use of English during class
4. Adherence to classroom rules

Students are encouraged to actively participate in discussion during class as this may be one of the few opportunities to use English.

Students with any condition or situation, either permanent or temporary, that could affect class performance, should advise the instructor so that accommodations can be made.
