本課程以臺灣既有建築、老屋延壽與高齡社會為背景，探討ESG理念如何轉化為具體的空間設計與地區再生策略。課程從淨零排碳、建築全生命週期、人屋雙老、在地安老、材料循環、社區參與及維護治理等議題出發，透過案例討論、生活經驗分享、空間觀察與問題診斷，引導學生理解既有空間在環境、社會與治理層面的問題。學生將以熟悉的住宅、老屋或地區空間為對象，提出以最少拆除、延長使用、改善生活及支持地方關係為原則的老屋新生構想。
《 課程簡介 -- English 》
This course examines how ESG principles can inform the renewal of existing buildings and neighbourhoods in Taiwan. Key topics include net-zero transition, building life extension, ageing populations and housing, ageing in place, material reuse, community participation, and maintenance governance. Through case studies, classroom discussion, spatial observation, and problem-based learning, students will explore design strategies based on adaptive reuse, minimum intervention, life-cycle thinking, and local regeneration. The course emphasises practical judgement, experience sharing, and feasible spatial improvement rather than complex technical drawings.
