智慧建築已是世界潮流趨勢,在台灣民間新建建築物更給予都市更新容積獎勵,公有建築物則以2億以上公共工程造價強制必須符合智慧建築標章規定,藉由獎勵與法規規範推動智慧建築發展,有鑑於此,可顯示出智慧建築知識的重要性,也是踏入建築領域的必要課程,所以本堂智慧建築課程,將接續建築設備課程所學,以建築設備結合智慧科技,由基礎理論推展到實務應用,讓同學真正認識智慧建築,未來投入職場時,即以兼具學以致用,教學內容則將包含智慧建築基礎理論、智慧建築系統整合概念、各項機電系統規劃設計概念、工程實務案例分享、案例參訪等,由規劃設計出發、施工過程、竣工階段、營運管理等不同階段的教學內容。

Intelligent Building have become a global trend in the construction industry. In Taiwan, newly developed private buildings are encouraged through floor area ratio (FAR) incentives under urban renewal policies, while public construction projects with a contract value exceeding NT$200 million are required to comply with the Taiwan Intelligent Building Label certification. These incentives and regulatory requirements have significantly accelerated the development of intelligent buildings, highlighting the importance of Intelligent building knowledge as an essential competency for professionals in the architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) industry.
Building upon the knowledge acquired in Building Services Engineering, this course integrates building systems with smart technologies, progressing from fundamental theories to practical applications. It aims to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of intelligent buildings and equip them with the practical skills needed for future professional careers. The course covers the fundamentals of Intelligent Building technologies, system integration concepts, planning and design of building services systems, engineering practices, real-world case studies, and site visits. Students will also gain an understanding of the entire lifecycle of intelligent buildings, including planning and design, construction, commissioning, operation, and facility management.
